Sterilization Tech

Overall Responsibility: Responsible for performing a variety of clinical duties within the dental office.  The Sterilization Technician’s primary duty will be working with clinical staff to ensure instruments used for procedures are sterilized. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Daily/Weekly/Monthly Tasks will include, but are not limited to: Cleans & sterilizes instruments  Follows Company Sterilization Protocol along with other rules & regulations Keeps track of inventory in the sterilization area  Keep all counters clean, neat & organized. Perform weekly spore testing and maintain a log of the results Perform weekly and monthly maintenance of Autoclave(s) Maintain proper pre-set trays and ensure they are ready for anticipated procedures.  Assists with laundry duties End of day duties designated by Head Dental Assistant  Help stock rooms Other Duties as assigned   Skills and Attributes Good planning and organizational skills Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and manner Computer literacy   Job Specifications:  High School Diploma or GED DAI Certification  Ability to lift 15-20 lbs.
