Control Engineer

*Job Description* We are looking for an experienced Electrical Designer with strong industrial electrical design experience to support custom industrial machinery projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating production-ready electrical documentation, control panel designs, and machine control systems in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environment. *Required Skills & Experience* * 5+ years of industrial electrical design experience * Strong experience with AutoCAD Electrical * Experience designing machine control systems * Hands-on experience with PLC I/O, VFDs, servo systems, and safety circuits * Experience working in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environment * Experience developing electrical schematics and panel layouts * Experience creating wiring diagrams and Bills of Materials (BOMs) * Experience selecting electrical hardware and components * Experience updating legacy electrical documentation * Knowledge of UL508A, NFPA 79, and NEC standards * Ability to work closely with Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams *Preferred Skills* * Allen-Bradley/Rockwell experience * UL508A and NFPA 79 experience * Plastics extrusion or converting industry experience * Industrial automation experience * Machine safety experience *Key Responsibilities* * Develop electrical schematics and control panel layouts * Create detailed wiring diagrams and BOMs * Select appropriate electrical components and hardware * Design electrical systems for custom industrial machinery * Update and maintain existing/legacy electrical documentation * Ensure designs meet applicable electrical and safety standards * Collaborate with Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams * Provide electrical design support throughout the equipment development process Pay: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
