Commercial Insights PartnerThis role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product, and other cross-functional stakeholders to help ensure customer deals are competitive, profitable, compliant, and aligned with company strategy. A strong understanding of the local competitive landscape is essential to help shape winning pricing strategies and commercially sound proposals. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, sound financial judgment, and excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate effectively across local sales teams and broader cross-functional stakeholders. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities, focused on delivering high-quality commercial insights.Your ResponsibilitiesWork with GSCO to build and analyze commercial proposals, pricing models, and deal structures to ensure margin, cash flow, and risk targets are met.Build and review business cases, ROI models, and financial scenarios for customer deals and investmentsTrack and analyze key commercial KPIs (bookings, revenue, margin, discounts, contract performance)Support the end-to-end deal lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through contract execution while adhering to internal approval processes, delegation of authority, and commercial policiesPartner with Sales and Pre-sales to optimize deal terms, pricing, and commercial frameworksIdentify commercial risks and propose mitigation strategiesReview discounting, rebates, and incentive structures to protect profitabilityCollaborate with Legal on commercial terms, contractual deviations, and risk assessmentsEnsure contracts align with approved commercial and financial frameworksSupport post-signature contract interpretation and change management as neededContribute to continuous improvement of commercial tools, processes, and templatesYour Skills And ExperienceYou have:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field10 years of experience in FN Business development, commercial management, pricing, finance, deal desk, or related rolesStrong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProven experience supporting complex deals and contractsSolid understanding of margin management, revenue recognition concepts, and commercial riskAdvanced proficiency in Excel (or equivalent financial tools); comfort with data analysisStrong business and commercial acumenAbility to influence without authority.
