To ensure the duties and responsibilities of the QA Auditing function are carried out in an efficient and effective manner through the use of proven supervisory skills, people skills, Bunn product knowledge and process knowledge. Assure supplied parts meet Bunn’s requirements. Assure Bunn manufactured product meets established quality levels. Assist in continuous improvement work in all areas of the company. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the following inspection, test and auditing duties of the QA Auditing function for all shifts are performed, and feedback is provided to the appropriate functions regarding quality levels and correction action (if necessary). Inspection of incoming parts/material as specified by Quality Engineering. Inspection/layout of incoming first articles, and reports generated. Final audits in the Fabrication Area. Process audits and OOBA audits in the Assembly Area. Assure inspection/measurement equipment is calibrated per the calibration schedule. Assure nonconforming material is properly identified and segregated. Assist with material in stock locations assigned to QA are processes correctly and in a timely manner. Carry out administrative duties of supervision including timesheets, work prioritization, overtime, vacation coverage, and performance reviews. Assist Quality Engineering in the development of Inspection Test Plans, Audit Check Sheets and acceptance criteria. Interface with the Quality Management Team regarding improvements to the QA Auditing function. Support Quality Engineering in the performance of Capability Studies and Root Cause Analysis. Support all functions as appropriate in problem solving, corrective action and prevention techniques. Other job-related duties as required by the Sr Quality Engineer or Director of Quality. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of AAS degree (or significant related QA experience) ASQ CQT certification preferred. Two years supervision experience with one to two years of broad-based QA experience in Metal Fabrication and/or Beverage Industry Product Assembly. An understanding of ISO-9001 quality systems and TQM principles as well as Quality tools and techniques such as SPC, Gage R&R and acceptance sampling. Excellent organizational and supervisory skills. Good communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Basic computer/software operational skills such as spreadsheets, word processing and databases. Mathematical/statistical skills.
