Job Description Job SummaryWe're looking to hire a hard-working Janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You'll be responsible for all cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms with soapy water, and shampooing carpets, in addition to maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and emptying trash. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the church facilities and groundsVacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans dailyClean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basisSecure the building by locking doors once cleaning is completeQualificationsHigh-school diploma or GED is preferred but not requiredDriver's license or reliable transportation to and from the worksiteExperience with xhyhwjd a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipmentAbility to meet physical demands of the position, including walking, standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lbsMust be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethicFriendly and approachable, willing to work with church staff and volunteers
