Restaurant General Manager - Taco Bell
Taco Bell is one of the trendiest brands in the industry, but you probably already knew that. What you might not know is how we care for our employees. For us, a job is more than just a paycheck, which is why we’re constantly investing in our employees through career and educational growth opportunities, including programs that help our employees receive their high school diplomas and pursue post-secondary education passions. We believe in helping our employees get more out of life. Our restaurants strive to live this out through teamwork, exciting new products, and many career opportunities that develop leadership skills with longevity.
What does a Restaurant General Manager do?
The RGM is responsible for building a great team that consistently provides a great customer experience through managing all aspects of restaurant operations. Some the these include:
· Interviewing, hiring, and training of team members and shift managers
· Conducting managers meetings, performance reviews and one-on-ones
· Recognizing and rewarding performance
· Creating employee schedules
· Maintaining product quality and food safety standards
· Conducting inventory
· Manage restaurant financials including labor, food cost and controllable expenses
Some of the benefits you’ll enjoy include:
Fun and Rewarding Culture
Just because it’s fast food, doesn’t mean it has to be boring. The teams that work in our restaurants are the single most important asset we have. We want to make sure it’s known by recognizing our teams and encouraging them to have fun through things such as a monthly recognition/fun fund and team communication app.
Menu Item Tasting
Enjoy free food EVERY shift that you work and you’ll get to taste all of our new products before they become available to our customers. Have fun creating your own unique menu items and your creation just might be featured across the whole Taco Bell system!
