Experienced server and bartender
Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and experienced professional to join our front-of-house team. This individual will provide exceptional service to guests in both our dining area and at the bar, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume, dynamic environment and demonstrates strong knowledge of both food and beverage offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services: Greet guests warmly, present menus, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable recommendations for both food and beverages (including wine, beer, and cocktails).
Order Management: Accurately take food and drink orders using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff for timely preparation and delivery.
Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistently according to standard recipes and quality standards.
Cash Handling: Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately, issue bills, and return change.
Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area, including resetting tables, washing glassware, and adhering to all food safety and alcohol regulations.
Inventory Control: Assist with monitoring bar inventory levels, restocking supplies (liquor, garnishes, napkins, etc.), and changing kegs as needed.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with all restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) as a server and/or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar setting.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of mixology, cocktail recipes, drink trends, and food pairing suggestions.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and oral communication skills with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
Multitasking: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure under pressure during busy shifts.
Legal & Certifications: Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in PA and possess valid alcohol service certification (RAMP) and a Food Handler's permit.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 25-50 pounds (e.g., cases of product, kegs).
Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
