This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, and controls.You'll play a key role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, and supporting a safe and efficient production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in accordance with established codes, standards, and best practicesPerform advanced troubleshooting on industrial equipment, including CNC machinery and robotic systemsAnalyze equipment failures and implement effective, long-term solutionsTroubleshoot and modify PLC systems, including ladder logic, using diagnostic software and toolsMaintain and repair solid-state devices and integrated control systemsSupport and execute repairs independently, while also providing guidance to team members when neededPerform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performanceRespond to production needs with a sense of urgency to minimize downtimeStep into a leadership role during the shift when supervisors are not present What You BringStrong background in industrial electrical systems, automation, CNC, and roboticsProven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control systemsWorking knowledge of electrical theory and formulas as applied in a manufacturing settingExperience with PLCs and ladder logic programming and diagnosticsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindsetFlexibility to work overtime as needed to support production demandsConsistent attendance and reliabilityCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementAbility to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:Associate's degree orequivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5+ years of relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.Dexter is driven by our core values committed to Safety, Quality and Integrity:Execute with Determination - Be curious, work together, break new ground, find solutions, fulfill our commitments, surpass expectations!Connect with People - Empower employees to grow, engage and collaborate; build lasting customer partnerships; care for our communities.Do the Right Thing - For our people, for our customers, and for the business.We care for our people.
