Overview
As Sr. Principal Embedded Software Engineer, you will lead and execute the development of embedded, connected-vehicle software for fire, refuse, and concrete mixer trucks. You will balance hands-on engineering with technical leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and production-grade solutions. The role requires on-vehicle testing in Greenville, WI, and close collaboration with embedded, cloud, and front-end teams to deliver end-to-end results. You’ll shape advanced IoT capabilities for mission-critical equipment and drive execution with rigor and mentorship.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop embedded software for connected vehicle solutions (telematics, edge computing, OTA, diagnostics, vehicle network integration, video streaming)Provide technical leadership and direction to ensure scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutionsEstablish architecture standards and promote engineering excellenceDrive Agile execution, backlog readiness, and sprint/release predictabilityPerform hands-on vehicle validation and testing in real-world conditionsCollaborate cross-functionally with embedded, cloud, and front-end teams and product owner to deliver end-to-end solutions
