Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork under a Shop Supervisor and collaborate with shop team membersFollow all safety procedures and maintain positive work habitsInterpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specificationsUse basic math skills to calculate dimensions and weightsInspect materials before and after weldingPerform final inspection on completed weldsOperate an Oxy/Acetylene torchWeld using GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW processes in various positionsGrind and gouge metal for extended periods when requiredOperate overhead bridge cranes to move materialsApply rigging techniques using key plates, bull pins, keys, shims, lifting lugs, nuts, U-bars, etc.Ensure weldments meet AWS D1.1 and AWWA D100 standards CompensationCompetitive hourly wages based on experience and qualificationsOvertime eligibility Benefits401(k) and 401(k) matchingHealth, dental, vision, and life insuranceHealth savings account ScheduleFull-timeMonday to FridayIn-person work location Position RequirementsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of welding experienceAbility to weld using FCAW and GMAW processesCapable of passing weld tests in horizontal and vertical positions per ASME Section IXAbility to produce X-ray quality welds in productionWorking knowledge of all aspects of the welding industryReliable transportationWillingness to work 40+ hours per weekDemonstrated safe and positive work habits Preferred1 year of stainless steel or aluminum welding experience This position is currently accepting applications.
