Job Description:Material HandlerJob Summary:As a Material Handler, you will be a vital part of operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies within our facility. Your role will involve safe handling, storage, and distribution of materials, contributing to the efficiency and success of our production processes.Major Duties ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlyPressure wash inbound equipment to meet cleanliness standardsMonitor and track deliveries of parts from the warehouse to the service departmentEnsure accurate receipt and staging of incoming materials and equipmentAssist with organization of the yard, shop, or warehouse areasFollow safety procedures and company policies at all timesPerform general labor and support tasks as assignedEssential Skills ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in material handling or a related role in an industrial setting is preferred.Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.Excellent organizational skills to maintain orderly storage areas and accurate inventory records.Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and relay information regarding material movements.Safety Environmental Factors:All employees are expected to adhere to the companys safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Team members must occasionallylift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
