Controller

A leading manufacturer and distributor in the fashion industry is seeking a Controller with experience dealing with leading retailers. This person will manage daily financial operations with responsibility for reporting, controls and partnering with the CFO and other senior management. This candidate will have five people under his/her control and will manage an International Controller. This position is onsite in Pine Brook, NJQualifications:Wholesale experience with large retailers and Amazon preferredUnderstanding of markdown allowancesStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reportingMust understand inventory valuation and cash managementHistory of managing the external audit processExperience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, KwikTag Document Management software and/or NetSuite preferredExpertise with Windows, MS Excel, and MS Word requiredStrong communicator that gets along with people but can still say noSelf-sufficient, can multitask, has strong management skills and can provide valuable input to the CFOEducation & Experience Required:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Required; CPA preferred7–12+ years of progressive accounting experience
