This is a Seasonal Position with an expected start date in April 2026 and expected to end in October 2026.Job Purpose:Provides servers and guests with a clean and stocked dining roomJob Duties and Responsibilities:(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)Ensures safe and sanitary dining areas by cleaning table and chair surfaces, emptying ashtrays, replacing used tablecloths, plates, cups and utensils, sweeping floors, transporting bus carts to the dishwashing station, disposing of all trash, and resetting tables as needed.Provides guests with service by acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the restaurant, taking beverage orders, delivering requested beverages, and responding to guest requests.Ensures restaurant stations are stocked and clean by placing delivered water, food supplies, cups and condiments in the server stations in the kitchens, and cleaning coffee machines, soda machines, sinks, shelves and counters according to established procedures.Promotes guest relations by responding to guest requests, offering appropriate up to date information regarding promotional contests and giveaways, providing requested assistance and product knowledge, and treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner.Job Specifications:Education and Experience:Essential:County of San Diego Food Handler CardDesirable:Bussing experienceServer experienceGuest service experienceSkills and Knowledge:Essential:Ability to work effectively with team members and guestsAbility to communicate effectively in the English languageAbility to maintain professionalism and composureAbility to understand verbal directives and written instructionsAbility to routinely lift and carry 50 poundsAbility to accept constructive criticismAbility to complete forms and documentsAbility to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a timeAbility to bend, stoop, push and pullAbility to work in a smoking environmentAbility to appear for work on timeDesirable:Multi-lingualSupervisory/Managerial Accountability:Direct: NoneIndirect: None
