Position Summary: The Quality Inspector plays a key role in ensuring that all glass products meet company, industry, and customer quality standards. This position is responsible for performing inspections throughout the manufacturing process, maintaining documentation, and supporting ongoing quality and process improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of glass and components at various production stages (raw materials, in-process, and final). Identify and document defects such as cracks, bubbles, scratches, or irregularities. Verify compliance with ASTM and customer-specific standards. Record and report inspection findings and non-conformances. Support continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action processes. Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment. Follow all ISO procedures and safety protocols. Requirements: Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred. Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment (glass industry experience a plus). Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize non-conformances. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and ASTM. Proficient in measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.). Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
