Job DescriptionWe are seeking a licensed Mental Health Counselor, Bi-Lingual (English-Spanish), Telehealth, Florida to join our team!Healthy Young Minds believes that matching a child’s needs to a provider based on expertise allows for more efficient and effective therapy. Moreover, you’ll join a highly ethical, innovative community committed to serving the diverse needs of children and have opportunities to mentor or partner with other therapists in your field. Our team consists of Speech, Occupational, and Psychological testing /diagnosing, Counselors, Behavioral, Music and Art Therapy services that work together to meet the needs of the whole child. Scheduling is flexible, so each therapist can create a healthy work-life balance. This is a W2 position or contract position.Responsibilities:Educating clients, family, and caregivers about disorders and therapeutic strategiesImplement and review treatment plansCollaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agenciesReport progress and current status to appropriate parties, including caregivers, teachers, medical professionalsEnsure all documentation is completed in a timely mannerQualifications:MUST have a valid state issued professional counseling licenseMust be bilingual in English and SpanishStrong understanding of conditions, causes and treatments of a variety of disorders. Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fieldsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsProficiency with computers, Zoom and healthcare EMR's.
