Inside Sales Engineer personnel have a comprehensive understanding of Microflex products supporting clients with technical solutions. Client support provided from inquiry through order fulfillment.
Microflex is a vertically integrated manufacturer of flexible metal components diametrically ranging from ¼” to +240”. Microflex has serviced aerospace, automotive, industrial, & military industries since 1975.
Basic Responsibilities:
Evaluate technical inquiries identifying system requirements
Define products meeting or exceeding client expectations
Design custom products using internal software, CAD, & FEA as required
Calculate costs including material, outside vendors, & labor establishing selling price
Create quotations for client submittal
Support key accounts & markets
Effectively communicate with departments including engineering, purchasing, quality, manufacturing, logistics, etc. throughout the order process
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industry experience
Strong Microsoft Office skill set
CAD experience 2D and/or 3D
Ability to read manufacturing drawings
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Preferred qualifications:
Technical sales experience
Experience with pressure bearing piping, tubing, vessels, etc.
Ability to understand piping isometrics
Structural FEA experience
Familiarity with pipe stress analysis
Experience working with metal fabrication
Experience working with welding
Knowledge pertaining to nondestructive testing methods
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Analytical persona with a drive to develop economic quality solutions
Maintains client focus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
