Plains is looking to hire a Tank and Facility Manager to oversee and manage integrity related activities around our tanks and facilities across all of our Plains assets in the US. #plains Job Purpose/Summary: Function as an Operations liaison with stakeholder groups to optimize projects in-line with business needs or requirements regarding Tanks and Facilities within assigned area. Oversee Tank and Facility integrity-related activities, including budgeting, spending, and cost reduction initiatives. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Primary point of contact for Operations for all activities involving both tanks and facilities. Ensure data is effectively managed according to applicable regulations and Integrity Management Program requirements. Develop and maintain project schedules, establish milestones for each phase, conduct regular progress reviews, and make necessary adjustments for on-time delivery. Understand project costs pertaining to labor, equipment, and materials forecast expenses, while skillfully handling budget. Guide the project team to meet KPIs, covering safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and financial aspects. Assign and review work for Field Tank Inspectors, demonstrating leadership and mentorship to foster their technical progress and growth. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and execution and standardization of the execution of all tank and facility integrity management projects, data collection and record retention. Analyze spending and activities to ensure resources are allocated effectively. Own and manage adherence to the quality control and safety programs. Identify and deploy strategies to proactively mitigate potential schedule delays and maintain project progress. Review data to ensure compliance is met when conducting activities related to Tank and Facility Integrity. Identify any areas of non-compliance and take corrective action as necessary. SME related support to Field Tank Inspectors, Operations, and Engineering Projects. Communication: Provide detailed communication to stakeholders and deliver timely project updates and reports. Expertise in conflict resolution for adeptly managing disputes and upholding project unity. Ability to write and communicate clear scopes of work to communicating timelines, cost, and associated resources. Requirements: 10+ years of demonstrated responsible project management experience and a working knowledge of API 650, 653, DOT Part 195 regulations and/or experience with tank construction or maintenance. Preferred API 653, AMPP CIP level 1, and CP 1 Certifications. In-depth understanding of tank and facility reliability, failure mechanisms and mitigative measures. Strong PC skills and demonstrate leadership characteristics. Excellent verbal & written communications skills and be capable of effectively interfacing with all levels of management, field personnel, and professionals. A customer focused attitude and demonstrate the ability to function as a team player. Willingness to travel to field locations (+/- 50%). Advanced problem-solving capabilities to tackle intricate challenges. Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing.
