As a recognized industry leader in contingent workforce solutions and Certified as a Great Place to Work, we're proud to partner with some of the most admired fortune 500 brands in the world.Job Title: Senior Staff Engineer, Agentic Ai DeveloperDuration: 6+ monthsLocation: Austin, TX or San Jose, CAPay range: $90.00-$94.00/hr on W2Position Details You will work alongside a team of engineers building and maintaining software infrastructure that supports chip design workflows, including AI-driven automation, EDA tool integration, CI/CD systems, and software build systems. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who thrives in a complex, Linux-based engineering environment.What You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain software tools and automation in Python, Go, Perl, and shell scripting on Linux.Architect and implement Agentic AI systems, including multi-step reasoning pipelines, tool-calling agents, and LLM-integrated workflows.Build and maintain automation that interfaces with RTL/EDA tools.Own and improve software build systems, including GNU Make-based infrastructures, Jenkins, and related CI/CD tooling.Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.Requirements5+ years of professional software engineering experience.Strong, production-level proficiency in Python and shell scripting on Linux.Working knowledge of Go and/or Perl in a professional context.Demonstrated, hands-on experience building Agentic AI systems (e.g., LLM agents, tool-use pipelines, orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar).Solid understanding of GNU Make and software build system design.Experience with Jenkins.Comfortable working day-to-day in a Linux environment.Nice to HaveExperience with RTL design tools and EDA ecosystems (e.g., Synopsys or Cadence tools).Familiarity with semiconductor design or verification flows.Experience with GNU Make, CMake, or other build system tools.Background in infrastructure or developer tooling for hardware engineering teams.
