Finance Manager

Finance Manager, Merchandise Planning & Analysis HomeGoods | HomesenseWant to make an impact?As part of our Financial Control team at HomeGoods|Homesense, you will play a role in supporting the Merchant and Buying organization to help drive sales and profits for the division. Day-to-day, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic decisions that impact merchandise margins for the leading off-price retailer in the world.A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously that will be reviewed by Senior Executives. Further, thinking critically, analyzing effectively and communicating efficiently is required.Responsibilities include:Lead a dynamic finance team and ensure effective, efficient and accurate forecastingProvide analytics around sales and merchandise margin, including markdown and inventory metricsPartner with senior merchants to provide insight into profit and retail trendsOversee & perform financial forecasting & reporting with excellent attention to detailDeliver key financial updates along with sales & inventory trends to CFO & senior merchantsDeliver strategy presentations with strong messaging and recommendations to senior leadershipFoster a collaborative culture through building relationships with partners across the business, such as Operational Groups, Merchandising & parallel finance groupsPlay a leadership role on projects & new initiatives for the teamManage and mentor associates on training and professional developmentRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related fieldAt least 5 years of experience working in a business planning and/or finance environmentPrior experience leading teams in a dynamic, fast paced environmentStrong communication skills with an ability to acquire and analyze information and draw business solutionsPrior experience with leading a team in enhancing use of data visualization tools like Power BIAble to concisely and effectively deliver insights, recommendations, and results to Executive Level managementAbility to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage constantly evolving assignments in a team environmentExcellent quantitative and analytical skills, and reporting on large amounts of dataHigh level of curiosity to explore, learn and understand business informationExcellent attention to detailProficient PC skills: Microsoft Office Excel & Power BI; Alteryx experience is a plusWe care about our culture, but we also prioritize your needs!Benefits include Associate discount; 401(k) match; medical/dental/vision; HSA; health care FSA; life insurance; short/long term disability; paid holidays/vacation/sick/bereavement/parental leave; EAP; incentive programs for management; auto/home insurance discounts; tuition reimbursement; scholarship program; adoption/surrogacy assistance; smoking cessation; childcare/cell phone discounts; pet/legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses. Contact your TJX representative for more information.This position has a starting salary range of $104,750 to $136,150 per year.Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
