Commissioning Manager | Semiconductor & Mission Critical ProjectsLocation: Austin, TX (Hybrid)Employment Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Semiconductor Manufacturing | Advanced Manufacturing | Mission Critical ConstructionAbout the OpportunityHarper Harrison is partnering with a leading engineering, construction, and commissioning organization supporting some of the largest semiconductor and advanced manufacturing projects currently underway in North AmericaDue to continued growth and a significant project pipeline, our client is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities on large-scale semiconductor manufacturing and mission critical construction projects throughout the Austin market.This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering complex, technically challenging projects valued in the hundreds of millions and billions of dollars.ResponsibilitiesLead commissioning activities from design review through final client turnover.Develop and execute project commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.Coordinate closely with construction, engineering, quality, operations, and client teams.Manage commissioning engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and specialist testing partners.Oversee pre-functional testing, functional testing, startup, and integrated systems testing.Track and resolve commissioning issues through completion and handover.Participate in design reviews and constructability assessments.Ensure all systems meet performance, reliability, and quality requirements.Support project reporting, schedule management, and client communication.Required Qualifications7+ years of commissioning, startup, turnover, construction, or project delivery experience.Experience managing commissioning activities on large-scale industrial, manufacturing, mission critical, or semiconductor projects.Strong knowledge of:Mechanical SystemsElectrical SystemsHVAC SystemsBuilding Automation Systems (BAS/BMS)Life Safety SystemsProven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.Strong client-facing communication skills.Preferred ExperienceSemiconductor Manufacturing FacilitiesAdvanced Manufacturing ProjectsData CentersPharmaceutical Manufacturing FacilitiesCleanroom EnvironmentsMission Critical Infrastructure
