Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Traveler House Supervisor RN compassionately coordinates care for individuals and families, taking a holistic approach to patient well-being. This role will guide, support and collaborate with care setting teams both in person and virtually, ensuring seamless patient care and Care Base operations. This role is central to living our mission, delivering safe, compassionate, and excellent care to every patient.The role will collaborate with members of our regional and national health care teams to provide appropriate care, education, and support to staff, patients, families, and physicians. The responsibilities include effectively and efficiently communicating with all levels of the health care team, from entry-level staff to executive leaders. This role directly supports CommonSpirit Health operating model to enhance the patient experience, promote patient safety, improve risk reductions, and maintain financial health.The Traveler House Supervisor RN will work with many dedicated staff, clinicians, and leaders to support all aspects and programs at Care Base, including, but not limited to, Virtual Nursing, Connection Specialists, Virtual Companions, Cardio-Pulmonary Technicians, After Hours Triage, Patient Placement, Transfer Center and other services as operationalized.Job RequirementsRequired:High School Graduare or GEDAssociate of Science in Nursing (ASN)Minimum of 5+ years of recent experience as a licensed nurse and knowledge of care transitions in the acute care setting3 years of recent experience in acute, hospital based, patient care1-3 years of Cardiac monitoring experience1-3 years of knowledge and the ability to facilitate patient care acroos the continuum1-3 years of experience and knowledge in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Registered NurseBasic Life Support (BLS) Provided by AHAAdvanced Life Support Instructor (ALS-I) Provided by AHAPreferred:* Bachelors of Science in NursingWhere You'll WorkInspired by faith.
