DescriptionThis position is Contingent Upon Contract Award.The Aircraft Servicer is responsible for the safe and efficient launch, recovery, and ground handling of aircraft within a training environment. Under the supervision of the Flight Line Supervisor, this position performs routine inspections, servicing, ground support tasks, and coordinates closely with pilots and maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft readiness for each training sortie.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform aircraft launch and recovery operations in accordance with established procedures.Conduct routine inspections and servicing of aircraft systems and components.Operate ground support equipment (GSE) safely and efficiently.Assist in towing, parking, and positioning aircraft on the flightline.Coordinate with pilots and maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft readiness.Maintain accurate records of servicing and ground handling activities.Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational directives.Report discrepancies or hazards promptly to the Flight Line Supervisor.Support training and readiness requirements for scheduled sorties.Maintain a clean and organized flightline environment.Required QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent.1+ years of experience in aircraft servicing or ground handling operations.Basic knowledge of flightline procedures and safety standards.Ability to operate ground support equipment (GSE).Valid state driver's license; ability to obtain flightline driving certification.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Army aviation or military flightline operations.Familiarity with GCSS-Army or similar maintenance management systems.Knowledge of AS9110 / ISO 9001 quality standards.Additional training in aircraft servicing or ground handling operations.Skills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors.Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.Certifications & TrainingOSHA safety training (required).Valid state driver's license (required).Hazmat handling and shipping awareness (preferred).Flightline driving certification (required upon hire).Clearance RequirementAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance as required by the contract (Public Trust or Secret level, as applicable).Work ConditionsContingent upon contract award.Work performed outdoors on flightline with exposure to noise, weather, and moving aircraft.May require overtime, shift work, and weekend support during peak operational periods.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.QualificationsEducationRequiredHigh School or betterExperienceRequired1 year: 1+ years of experience in aircraft servicing or ground handling operations.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights (https://www.eeoc.gov/poster) notice from the Department of Labor.
