Director, Procurement Strategy and Transformation

This position is an integral part of the procurement strategy and transformation team, will be responsible for strategic procurement transformation initiatives and will support the Professional Services Tower Lead with Strategic initiatives, systems and critical projects. In this role you will develop and implement key strategic initiatives and business cases to achieve the overall business unit objectives. In this role, you will also collaborate with Sourcing Managers and providing business intelligence to enhance data driven business decisions to achieve our goals. The Director will also be responsible for large, complex sourcing and contracting initiatives. In this role you will help develop and execute team, system and sourcing strategies consistent with an overall category strategy and business unit objectives.Individual Responsibilities : Support strategic projects for NA ProcurementConduct benchmarking and opportunity assessment to achieve business unit goalsSuggest and make changes in existing processes and metrics to increase efficiency & effectivenessConduct benchmarking for procurement, best-in class negotiations, AI best practices, transformational initiatives in procurement.Engage with Procurement team and stakeholders to increase data driven decision makingIdentify and develop key performance metrics and dashboardsProvide sourcing thought leadershipCreate presentations for executive leadership which highlight relevant process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.Support to bring consistency and efficiency across categoriesLead cross-functional teams to execute large, complex sourcing projects and contracting effortsConduct baseline and market analysis, develop sourcing strategy and conduct contract negotiationsInfluence requirements from business partners necessary to evaluate and select suppliersDetermine sourcing strategy and conduct analysis and negotiationsManage relations with key business partners and project owners to develop/maintain strong working relationshipsOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Post graduate degree (business/ analytics preferred)10 years of progressive business experience in consulting and/or sourcing and procurement. Preferred experience in consulting.Good knowledge of data analysisExperience in developing operational strategiesWorking knowledge of data analysis – Excel and/or Power BI or similar toolsAdvanced MS Word, MS Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint skillsSolid analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic and right to left thinking.Excellent presentation and report writing skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently as well as cross-functionally, comfortable with multi-tasking and executing on ambiguity.Ability to work through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work as neededExperience in previous strategy consulting role will be preferredWhen you join our team:We'll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
