As Chief Accounting Officer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the global accounting and reporting functions during a transformative period. This critical role requires ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and transparency while facilitating process modernization and system implementation. You will work closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and capital market activities, all while building a top-tier accounting organization.The client is preparing for the implementation of a new ERP/accounting platform to enhance scalability and efficiency, and your leadership will be essential in guiding this transition and harmonizing processes across regions. Key responsibilities include directing all accounting operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple jurisdictions, overseeing SEC filings and external reporting while maintaining high transparency standards, and leading the implementation of a new ERP/accounting system to support rapid growth.You will also provide advice on accounting implications for growth strategies, acquisitions, and capital market activities, maintain robust internal controls, and ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX, and international standards. Building and mentoring a high-performing global accounting team will be fundamental, promoting collaboration and professional development.The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of progressive accounting leadership experience within a U.S. publicly traded company, including 5 years in SEC reporting, a CPA certification, and preferably Big 4 experience. Expertise in U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance, and global accounting standards is essential, along with a proven ability to build and scale accounting teams and lead through change. Experience with ERP systems and process modernization is desired, with experience in industrial or technology manufacturing being advantageous.
