Job Title: Fraud Investigator (Contract)Location: Columbus, OH (100% onsite initially)Duration: 3–6 monthsPay Rate: $24–$26 per hour (W2)Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Fraud Investigator to support financial crime investigations within a banking environment. This role involves analyzing account activity, identifying suspicious transactions, and preparing detailed reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct investigations on potentially fraudulent or suspicious account activity across consumer and commercial productsAnalyze transaction patterns to identify unusual or high-risk behaviorPrepare clear, accurate, and complete Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) when requiredMaintain thorough and well-documented case notes in a case management systemReview various financial products including deposit accounts, loans, credit/debit cards, and related servicesCommunicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholdersEnsure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, including AML and BSA guidelinesMeet established deadlines and service level agreements for case completionRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field, or equivalent experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlinesHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentialityPreferred QualificationsExperience with fraud investigations or financial crime analysisExperience writing or reviewing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)Background in banking, financial services, accounting, or auditingFamiliarity with AML, BSA, and regulatory compliance requirementsExperience working with case management systemsWork Environment & TrainingFully onsite role during initial training and onboarding periodApproximately 4 weeks of training with strict attendance requirementsDay shift schedule; exact hours may be subject to changeFast-paced, production-driven environment with a focus on accuracy and qualityPrideGlobal and it's affiliates offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Equal Employment OpportunityPrideGlobal and it's affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
