Schedule Night shifts; 36 hours per week, every other weekend. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, preventing illness and injury while alleviating suffering through diagnosis and treatment. This RN position encompasses patient advocacy and care as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Responsibilities Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients. Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management. Utilize pharmacological knowledge to safely administer medications per policies. Participate in and support Nursing Shared Governance and improvement initiatives. Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice. Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Registered Nurse (RN) experience of 6 months to 3 years, with at least 5 years of direct experience preferred. Current NYS RN License. BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross). Previous experience in a cardiac telemetry department is required, including TAVR, heart catheterizations, and management of cardiac drips.
