A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide services for a school setting in Boston, MA. This role supports students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program and requires in-person attendance.Key Responsibilities:Deliver physical therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to students' individual needs.Collaborate with educators and other related service providers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Monitor student progress and document therapy sessions in compliance with school and regulatory standards.Provide guidance and recommendations for assistive devices and adaptive equipment.Participate actively in team meetings and communicate regularly with parents and school staff.Desired Qualifications and Experience:Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts.Experience working in school-based physical therapy settings, preferably with ESY programs.Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and developmental disorders.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within an educational environment.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.Location: In-person assignment in Boston, MA.This contract role offers an opportunity to support student growth and development during critical summer months within a structured school environment.
