Physician Assistant Certified
An Interventional Pain Management practice is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant - Certified to join their Pain Management practice. This is an employer direct hire, permanent full-time position.In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care in an out-patient setting. Your expertise will support diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of diverse medical conditions.Experience in interventional pain management a plus.This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care through clinical excellence, research participation, and health education initiatives.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs documentation.Assist in diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory data collection, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.Administer medications and injections with aseptic technique, including botulinum toxin treatments and other specialized procedures.Perform suturing, wound care, and minor surgical procedures.Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.QualificationsCertification as a Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).Experience in interventional pain management is a plus.Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks.Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10.Knowledge of infection control practices and infection prevention strategies.Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration and patient education.Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
