Accounts Payable And Cash Receipts CoordinatorColby-Sawyer College is seeking an Accounts Payable and Cash Receipts Coordinator to administer and process the college's payables functions. This position will also manage the inventory for supplies and stationery by ensuring that all invoices are paid accurately and timely, and that they are recorded appropriately. ResponsibilitiesProcess incoming invoices for payment, prepare and mail disbursements. Balance daily cash and process student payments. Prepare and distribute 1099 forms, rooms and meals tax, and new hire reports. Maintain adequate filing systems for retrieval and verification of A/P history. Record prepayment of accounts and reverse prepayment at appropriate times. Maintain signatory list and Purchase Order site for proper channeling. Order name tags, business cards and signage. Maintain supply of college stationary needs for general use. RequirementsHigh School diploma. Some formal accounting education is desirable. Minimum of two years' experience in a bookkeeping or accounts payable position. Demonstrable skills for use in a computerized environment, including date entry and the use of accounting software packages.
