Radiology Technician / Radiologic TechnologistLocation: Houston, TXContract Duration: 11 WeeksSchedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM – 7:15 AM 36 Hours Per WeekJob Summary"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Radiology Technician / Radiologic Technologist for a high-volume hospital imaging department. This role supports emergency, inpatient, and surgical services by performing diagnostic radiographic procedures and assisting physicians during fluoroscopic and invasive procedures.The ideal candidate will have strong acute care imaging experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced overnight hospital environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and department protocolsConduct imaging procedures for emergency, inpatient, and surgical patientsPerform portable x-rays for inpatient and bedside imaging needsAssist physicians during fluoroscopic and invasive radiology proceduresOperate C-arm equipment in surgical and procedural settingsEnsure radiation safety, patient positioning accuracy, and high-quality imaging standardsMaintain compliance with hospital policies and radiology proceduresDocument imaging procedures accurately within departmental systemsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teamsSupport efficient workflow in a busy hospital imaging departmentRequired QualificationsActive Radiologic Technologist / Radiology Technician experience requiredAcute care hospital imaging experience preferredEmergency Department imaging experience requiredExperience with portable x-ray procedures preferredFluoroscopy and C-arm experience preferredStrong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging proceduresAbility to work night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environmentStrong patient care and communication skills requiredCompliance with all facility credentialing requirements requiredFor more details contact ator Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
