Warehouse Specialist - Aviation (Aircraft Parts)
Position Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, sorting, and organizing teardown parts within the warehouse. This role supports inventory accuracy, parts recovery, and efficient material flow by safely handling components removed from parted out aircraft. The position requires attention to detail, ERP knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while following safety and quality standards.
The Warehouse specialist will identify, label, and store reusable parts, and assist with inventory tracking. This role works closely with warehouse, repairs, and sales teams to ensure recovered parts are accurately documented and readily available for repair or resale.
Responsibilities :
Catalog and inventory aircraft parts using photos and part documentation
Accurately label, store, and organize parts in assigned warehouse locations
Update and maintain accurate stock records, reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
Identify part numbers, serial numbers, and descriptions.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Adhere to established packing and safety procedures specific to aircraft materials.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to support continuous improvement efforts.
Carry out additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualification requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must possess a valid driver’s license and/or be eligible to obtain them.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with ERP systems such Pentagon 2000, Quantum, SAP or similar.
Familiarity with OSHA, ISO is desired.
Dangerous goods familiarity ideal.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach.
Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, sorting, and handling sensitive materials.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Working experience requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in the aviation industry.
Experience with incoming/outgoing inspection of aircraft spare parts is preferred.
Experience using online shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, DHL) for processing freight.
