Pharmacy Store CoordinatorThis position is responsible for planning, monitoring, and directly coordinating pharmacy storeroom staff in the safe, effective, and cost-effective acquisition of drugs within University Hospitals. What you will do includes procurement and restocking of drug products within the hospital and individual pharmacies, processing of all associated invoices and credits, maintaining orderliness of the pharmacy storeroom area, and utilization of electronic systems for ordering and receiving. Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned, complying with all policies and standards, and abiding by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.Qualifications include a high school equivalent or GED (required) and a bachelor's degree (preferred). Work experience of 5+ years in hospital pharmacy with emphasis on computerized pharmacy systems, such as Omnicell Cabinets and Carousel, pharmacy procurement and invoicing systems, and inventory/storeroom management experience is required. Good communication skills, knowledge of computerized pharmacy ordering and distribution systems, strong record keeping abilities, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access experience are essential. Licenses and certifications required include Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and Ohio Board of Pharmacy Registered.
