This visible role sits at the center of strategic communications and mission-critical operations, requiring sound judgment, precision, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced federal environment.The Senior Consultant will serve as a trusted conduit of information, ensuring taskers, executive correspondence, and priority deliverables are completed accurately and on time. As a key client-facing point of contact, this individual will collaborate across the organization with stakeholders and senior leadership to drive coordination, support decision-making, and deliver results. MetaPhase is seeking a polished, proactive professional with at least five years of relevant experience who is ready to make an immediate impact on our high-performing team!What You Will Be DoingTask ManagementManage the full lifecycle of deliverables, including intake, tracking, coordination, and closure, providing routine status updates and quality control reviewsAnalyze incoming tasks for requirements, assign ownership, and ensure timely responsesCoordinate across organizations to gather inputs, reconcile feedback, and ensure consistencyCommunicationsDraft, edit, and finalize executive-level communications (briefing materials, memos, talking points, emails)Translate complex operational or policy information into clear, concise messagingSupport development of internal communications products and leadership briefingsEnsure messaging alignment across stakeholders and organizational prioritiesOperations and Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies in tasker workflows and recommend process improvementsDevelop SOPs, templates, and job aids to standardize task management and communications processesSupport surge efforts and high-priority requests in a fast-paced environmentWhat We Need From You (Required)A minimum of five plus years experience Ï Bachelor’s degree Ï Strong organizational, communications (both written and verbal), and project management skillsAbility to prioritize work, engage with different audiences, and work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Active DHS Public Trust Clearance Ï Citizenship RequirementsBonus Points (Desired)Certification(s) in project management (PMP), change management (PROSCI), SCRUM, or similarThree years in Federal consulting preferredWork LocationWashington, DC or Indianapolis, INTravelLess than 10%Education LevelBachelor’s DegreeClearance LevelActive DHS Public Trust ClearanceU.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)About MetaPhase ConsultingMetaPhase Consulting is different with a purpose - demonstrating a new approach to the industry that puts employees and culture first!
