If you're ready to make a significant impact and grow within a firm that values your professional and personal goals, we invite you to apply.Compensation:$110,000 - $140,000 yearly base plus incentiveResponsibilities:Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation processAdvise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance optionsEnsure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as neededDraft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorneyDiscuss plans with clients for distributing clients' assetsConsult with prospective clients and lead them through our proprietary estate planning process.Provide expert legal advice and deliver superior estate planning and asset protection work products.Research, design, and create complex and customized estate plans.Guide clients through the probate process, providing clear, actionable advice to simplify complex legal procedures.Represent clients in uncontested guardianship and probate hearings.Maintain detailed and organized records of client interactions and case progress to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with legal requirements.Qualifications:Excellent communication skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situationsExperience at a legal firm working on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years is requiredActive membership with the ABA (American Bar Association) Working knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this positionActive North Carolina Bar license.Five (5) years or more of Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration experience.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage others in a fast-paced, service-oriented firm.Experience using WealthDocx Estate Planning software or ElderDocx Elder Law software.LL.M. in tax or Estate Planning and Probate Board Certified Specialist preferred.About CompanyWe value open and respectful feedback as well as work-life balance.
