$110,000 - $140,000 yearly base plus incentive Responsibilities:* Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
* Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options
* Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
* Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
* Discuss plans with clients for distributing clients' assets* Consult with prospective clients and lead them through our proprietary estate planning process.
* Provide expert legal advice and deliver superior estate planning and asset protection work products.
* Research, design, and create complex and customized estate plans.
* Guide clients through the probate process, providing clear, actionable advice to simplify complex legal procedures.
* Represent clients in uncontested guardianship and probate hearings.
* Maintain detailed and organized records of client interactions and case progress to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with legal requirements.Qualifications:* Excellent communication skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
* Experience at a legal firm working on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years is required
* Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association)
* Working knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation
* 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position* Active North Carolina Bar license.
* Five (5) years or more of Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration experience.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage others in a fast-paced, service-oriented firm.
* Experience using WealthDocx Estate Planning software or ElderDocx Elder Law software.
