Irrigation Technician Apprentice

Responsibilities Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems Support tasks such as sprinkler head and nozzle replacement, pipe repairs, trenching, and basic wiring under supervision Participate in seasonal services, including spring system start-ups, mid-season checks, and fall winterizations Help load and unload tools and materials for daily service operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites and service vehicles Interact with customers in a respectful and professional manner Attend safety meetings and participate in on-the-job training Follow company standards for documentation, communication, and quality of work Work Monday through Friday (day shift), with occasional Saturdays and overtime during peak seasons (spring and fall) Progress toward independent technician responsibilities over the course of the season Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Valid drivers license Eligible to work in the U.S. Mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn Positive attitude and willingness to receive coaching Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor Benefits Paid time off and paid holidays Bonus program Boot reimbursement Uniform and tools allowance Paid training and education SIMPLE IRA with company match Health insurance support Referral program Professional development assistance Retirement plan Offered compensation: $18/hr - $25/hr Experience and License Requirements Experience working in physically demanding roles (optional) Landscaping, irrigation, plumbing, or construction experience (optional) Mechanical or technical aptitude (working with equipment, repairs, etc.) (optional) Valid drivers license
