Role Description We are seeking a full-time Assistant Cook to join our team at Cajun Boil. The role is on-site and based in Anoka, MN. The Assistant Cook will support the kitchen staff by assisting in meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, ensuring proper food presentation, managing inventory, and cleaning workstations and equipment. The Assistant Cook will work under the Head Chef to maintain a smooth kitchen operation and deliver exceptional meals to customers. Qualifications Knowledge of cooking basic techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety standardsSkills in knife handling, portioning, and food presentationUnderstanding of inventory management and maintaining a clean work environmentAbility to multitask, follow instructions, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPhysical stamina for long hours of standing and liftingStrong time management and organizational abilitiesFood Safety Certification and previous restaurant kitchen experience are a plus
