Day shift.Our client, a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for their Queens, NY location.Duties and Responsibilities:Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations to identify and assess speech and language difficulties.Intervention Planning: Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific goals, therapy strategies, and measurable outcomes tailored to each student.Therapy Delivery: Provide individual or group therapy using techniques like articulation drills, language stimulation, and play-based interventions.Collaboration & Consultation: Work with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student communication needs and overall development.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain progress records, write reports for IEP meetings, and communicate findings.Job Requirements:Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programCurrent New York licensure as a Speech-Language PathologistCertification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)Strong understanding of child development and typical speech and language milestonesPediatric experience preferred, but not required.Benefits:Medical/Dental/Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)401K planLife InsurancePTO (sick and vacation time)Tuition ReimbursementOn a school schedule - 6 weeks summer and administration daysStaff discounted daycare for 2.0-5.0 childrenEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)VTL/STD/LTD (Short/long term disability)MAT leave (Maternity leave)Salary: The posted range is not a guarantee.
