Construction Project Manager

Project Manager Overview: The Construction Project Manager is an experienced construction professional with a track record of completing construction projects on time, and within the budget scope. In addition, this individual works directly with the field teams to maintain the scope of work according to the required standards and support the field teams in their efforts to complete each project accordingly. Lastly, this person acts as the main reporting source for status updates on all projects. Must have good communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Project Manager Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate construction estimating, including preparing and managing construction estimates using estimating software for both concrete and pre-engineered metal building projects -Prepare proposals for owners/general contractors for new construction projects - Coordinate and manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. - Review requests for additional expenses and ensure change orders are approved prior to the work being completed -Establish and maintain standards of workmanship for specific projects - Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring that all expenses are accurately accounted for and that the project remains within budget and within the desired timeframe - Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans. - Coordinate and manage project communications with contractors, suppliers, and clients. - Develop and implement effective project coordination strategies to ensure smooth project execution and to demonstrate and reinforce RF's values, work processes and policies - Conduct regular site inspections and report any issues or concerns to the construction team. - Identify and mitigate potential construction risks and hazards. - Ensure that all construction activities are in compliance with Fair Housing Laws, regulations, building codes and policies. - Develop and maintain accurate project records, including project schedules, budgets, and progress reports. -Assist the field teams in identifying future projects and budgets -Maintain each asset to standards set by RF Concrete Construction. -Work with field teams to ensure that inspections and maintenance of the property are scheduled and executed properly -Prepare detailed reports on the status and completion of projects -Assist with monthly billing to clients as requested. Project Manager Experience and Qualifications: - Minimum of five years proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a strong track record of successfully delivering construction projects. - In-depth knowledge of construction management, including project scheduling, construction estimating, and project coordination. - Experience with construction management software, -Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards. - Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. - A strong background in construction estimating, including experience with estimating software. -Physical demands: Must be able to lift up to 20lbs, frequent walking and exposure to outdoor weather conditions including wet, hot and/or humid conditions. -Travel 10% or less -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Proven success as a leader across multiple functions -Ability to solve problems and innovate when needed -Ability to learn and apply new information quickly -Recover quickly from setbacks - Ability to coach, counsel, motivate, and inspire others -Knowledge of Excel, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office a must Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year Experience: Project management: 5 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Vero Beach, FL 32962 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Vero Beach, FL 32962: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
