We are currently offering a $2,250 sign-on bonus for CDL or CDL permit holders with Passenger and Air Brakes endorsements!! Position may be required to work at either our Mesa, AZ or Tempe, AZ locations.What we offer:Medical, dental, vision benefits; effective on Day OneCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesPaid training401(k)Full-time positions onlyKnowledge and Experience:Must be minimum 21 years of age3 years verifiable valid driver's licenseA valid Arizona Class A or Class B CDL or CDL permit (REQUIRED) with Passenger 'P' Endorsement (STRONGLY PREFERRED)Must have clean driving record for the last 7 yearsMust be able to pass a 10-year criminal background checkMust have stable work historyMust be able to work a flexible schedule that may include split shifts, late nights, weekends, and holidays (Only full-time positions available)Experience working with the publicMust have excellent face to face customer service skillsMust be able to work at either our Tempe or Mesa locationsSkills:Excellent customer service skillsPositive attitude and enjoy working with the general publicAttention to detailExcellent communication skillsExceptional judgementFast learnerAble to follow directionsTime management skillsKey Accountabilities:Customer Service:Ensure customers feel welcomeEffectively communicate with passengers especially in the event of service disruptionsProvide passengers with assistance as neededAccommodate passengers with information such as schedule, guidance, etc.Safety:Ensure safe on-road operations while maintaining on-time performanceFamiliarity with assigned routing and detoursAwareness of ADA Policies and ProceduresUnderstanding of ADA ComplianceProper operation of all wheelchair lifts, for each bus modelReport immediately to dispatch any vehicular accident or passenger incident and follow the incident and accident reporting proceduresOperations:Collect the prescribed fares and notify dispatch of any type of fare evasion or fraudPerform pre and post trip inspections and enter all defects into the ZONAR systemFollow exact deadhead routing and their assigned revenue service routesDepart the start of each route exactly on-time and never operate ahead of scheduleReport any bunching of buses or other problems that may disrupt scheduled servicePerform other duties as assignedAdditional Statements:Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
