Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).QualificationsSpecialized Experience for the IT Project Manager, GS-2210-13One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-12 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: Experience leading cross-function team using agile delivery practices, improving team velocity, reducing cycle times, increasing stakeholder engagement and transparent communication of project progress in the delivery of complex IT modernization initiatives.. Experience monitoring project, schedule, budget, scope and risks using agile frameworks, recommending adjustments in real time to maintain schedule adherence and ensure high quality, on-budget delivery for complex IT system initiatives. Experience leading technical teams to ensure agile project deliverables comply with federal mandates (e.g., FISMA, privacy, NIST,etc.) or industry standards and align with organizational governance processes, enterprise architecture, and strategic objectives to deliver frequent, incremental, customer-centric solutions.Basic Experience RequirementsYou must possess IT related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (e.g., IT certification), as appropriate) demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Knowledge of Project Management principles sufficient to lead and coordinate IT projects with multiple stakeholders. Ability to deliver mission critical IT initiatives to meet organizational objectives using agile project management tools or techniques. Skill in leading and directing people, teams and programs / projects associated with IT application development; the development of mission-critical enterprise class applications, and enterprise-wide IT projects.
