The Cytotech adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building; processes and screens cytologic specimens according to procedure and screens microscopic slides for diagnostic evaluation; issues diagnostic reports on cytologic material; issues final diagnostic reports on negative GYN cases and provides preliminary diagnoses on all remaining cases that are evaluated further by a Pathologist; and more!
