Program Manager

The Program Manager supports USDA Forest Service Fire and Aviation Management (WO FAM) by managing program-level coordination, advising government leadership, and ensuring project performance, schedule, and delivery alignment with agency priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministers specific projects on behalf of agency personnel and maintain project cost, schedule, and performance data.Meets regularly with government program managers and advises them on deliverables and issues on the project.Consults with and advises government management and serves as advisors providing the analytical guidance required for completion of government projects.Facilitates overall strategy development at the project and program levels.Serve as primary point of contact with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)Ensure effective communication between stakeholders and government leadership.Required QualificationsRequires one year of project management experience.Must have demonstrated ability in effective oral and written communication, planning, leadership, and operational skills.Bachelor’s degree in business or a related fieldMinimum of five (5) years of progressive program/project management experience OR a combination of an associate degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a related field.Strong oral and written communication skillsLeadership, planning, and operational management capabilitiesContingent upon awarding of contractOnly shortlisted candidates are going to be contactedBenefitsPaid sick leave, Medical/Dental (optional), 401 (k) Retirement Plan (optional), Employer Paid Life Insurance, Employer Paid Short Term Disability, Optional Life Insurance.ELYON International, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
