Special Education TeacherPosition OverviewWe are seeking dedicated and results-driven Special Education Teachers to provide high-quality, individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities. The ideal candidate is committed to ensuring all students make meaningful academic progress by delivering targeted instruction, implementing IEPs with fidelity, and collaborating closely with general education teachers and families.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver specialized instruction aligned to students’ IEP goalsAdapt and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needsImplement accommodations and ensure compliance with all IEP requirementsMonitor and track student progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction accordinglyCollaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and co-teachingDevelop and maintain accurate IEP documentation and service logsParticipate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with familiesCreate a structured, supportive, and well-managed learning environmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; degree in Special Education preferredExperience working with students with diverse learning needs preferredStrong understanding of IEP development and implementationCommitment to supporting students in an urban school setting
