Customer Quality Engineer

As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities.Your Responsibilities:Establishes a trusting relationship with the customer’s plant engineering, line operators, quality departments, logistic departments, and customers service organizations.Manages the specific customer location with proactive visits at a frequency agreed with the customer.Operates as direct contact and responsible person to customer’s complaints (not necessarily on site).Provides quick and accurate feedback to the manufacturing plants and if applicable to the BUs regarding quality/manufacturing issues.Joint pre-analysis / pre-selection at the customers warranty return centers, resulting in discussions to reduce part returns and the related costs.Coordinates the transfer of return parts to appropriate analysis centers, registers complained parts in VQTS.Coordination of sorting, rework or re-flash actions at the customer facilities and implements immediate actions to minimize customer disruption.Support of product changes, customer plant trial runs and of safe launch activities at customers facilities.Travel to different Customer locations.Your Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in customer relationship management, quality assurance, or production support within manufacturing or automotive sectors.Experience managing customer complaint processes and warranty return handling.Familiarity with quality management systems and tools such as VQTS or similar complaint tracking platforms.Willingness to travel is required.Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
