The Wilson House is a historic inn and refuge for people in recovery and the birthplace of Bill W., co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. This position will be part of a dedicated team working to build lasting relationships with donors, steward a growing community of supporters, and ensure the operational backbone of our campaign runs smoothly and with integrity. JOB DUTIESProvide administrative support to the Capital Campaign Cabinet and Volunteers, including meeting scheduling, preparation, minutes, and follow-up Maintain and manage the donor database (Bloomerang/CRM), including data entry, gift and pledge tracking, reporting, record updates, and data integrity Prepare and process donor communications, including acknowledgments, pledge reminders, general correspondence, and appeals (mail and online) Support donor relations and stewardship through personalized outreach (thank-you notes, calls, and engagement activities) Conduct donor, prospect, and foundation research to support fundraising efforts Assist in planning and executing fundraising, donor, and board engagement events, including logistics, invitations, sponsorships, and follow-up Coordinate volunteer recruitment, organization, and training efforts Manage mailings and campaign materials (letters, electronic mailings, newsletters, invitations, and related tasks) Support staff and member giving campaigns and overall fundraising goals Perform additional duties and support organization-wide initiatives as neededQUALIFICATIONS2–4 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or a related fieldExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skillsProficiency with donor database software; experience with Bloomerang preferredStrong multitasking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environmentCollaborative team player who works effectively across departmentsCommitment to the mission and values of The Wilson House and deep respect for the recovery communityTO APPLYPlease apply by sending your resume and a cover letter detailing why you’d be a good fit for the job, to both kim@wilsonhouse.org and adam@wilsonhouse.org with the message subject “Development Associate”.
