Fertilization Technician (Licensed Applicator) Suburban Landscape Management — Utica, MI (Macomb & Oakland County Routes) $1,000 Sign-On Bonus - Paid after 12 weeks (must be in good standing). Position Overview Suburban Landscape Management is hiring a Fertilization Technician / Licensed Applicator to service residential and commercial routes throughout Macomb and Oakland County. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, communicates well with customers, and wants to be part of an organized, positive team. Immediate interviews available. What You’ll Do (Job Duties) Apply lawn fertilization and pest control products according to labeled rates and best practices Operate and maintain application equipment (spreaders/sprayers), and keep your truck organized Identify common turf issues (weeds, insects, and disease) and communicate solutions clearly Follow route schedules and complete services efficiently and safely Maintain accurate service documentation (product usage, notes, and any required records) Provide great customer service and represent SLM professionally at all times Work in varying outdoor conditions and follow all safety procedures What We’re Looking For Michigan Commercial Applicator License preferred (3A) OR ability to obtain licensing quickly (company reimburses certification/testing costs) Experience required (2+ seasons is a plus) Good driving record and reliable transportation to/from the shop Strong customer communication skills Basic insect and disease knowledge Dependable, organized, and team-oriented Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay Paid inclement weather days Paid holidays + paid vacation days Year-end bonus + yearly raise opportunities Newer fleet-maintained trucks & equipment Company reimburses certification/testing costs Paid uniforms Positive team environment + organized routes Schedule / Season Primary season: Spring through Fall (full-time hours during the service season) Winter work available (optional): snow operations if desired Job Location Based out of: 6900 Greeley St, Utica, MI 48317 Routes: Macomb & Oakland Counties Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $25 - $38 Hourly Bonus/Commission: Yes
