Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job ScheduleDayTimeWed 01:00 PM - 09:30 PMThur 01:00 PM - 09:30 PMFri 01:00 PM - 09:30 PMSat 01:00 PM - 09:30 PMSun 01:00 PM - 09:30 PMWhat You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or driver entry as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or policy concerns. Support day-to-day operations at the location by observing loading, shipping, receiving, and trailer yard areas for security-related concerns and reporting issues through proper channels. Minimum Requirements A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
