Title: Technical Project Manager – Privacy Assessment ProgramOrganization: Privacy OrganizationLocation: Indianapolis, IN (Fully Remote)Duration: 12-Month Contract (Possible Extension)Start Date: September 7, 2026Pay Rate: $70-75/hour (W-2/ 40hrs a week)Hours of Operation: 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM (EST)/ (aligned to overlap with China-based stakeholders)Position SummaryThe Privacy organization is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support ongoing Privacy initiatives within ServiceNow, with an immediate focus on a new China Privacy Assessment implementation. This individual will serve as the primary coordinator between U.S.-based technical teams, Privacy stakeholders, external partners, and China-based business representatives.The ideal candidate combines strong technical project management skills with experience leading global implementations, requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional coordination across multiple time zones. Hands-on familiarity with ServiceNow — including how it integrates with other enterprise systems to support Privacy operations — is expected. Working knowledge of the Privacy Assessment process itself is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.Key ResponsibilitiesChina Privacy Assessment ImplementationLead planning and execution activities for a China-specific Privacy Assessment implementation.Coordinate requirements gathering sessions with China-based stakeholders.Document and manage functional and technical requirements.Support evaluation of China privacy processes and identify required ServiceNow configurations.Help design how China-specific processes integrate with existing Privacy workflows.Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary liaison between:U.S.-based Privacy teamsChina business stakeholdersServiceNow delivery teamsExternal consulting partnersFacilitate meetings and communicate decisions, risks, issues, and dependencies.Drive alignment across technical and business teams.Project ManagementDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies.Coordinate release planning activities and implementation milestones.Track deliverables and ensure execution against agreed timelines.Prepare executive-ready status reports for leadership.Requirements & DocumentationManage requirement intake, prioritization, and traceability.Create and maintain project documentation.Ensure technical requirements are clearly communicated to development and platform teams.Support UAT planning and readiness activities.Identify and document data flow, field mapping, and functional gaps between ServiceNow and other systems of record (e.g., inventory/metadata management systems) that support the Privacy Assessment process.System Integration & ServiceNow Platform KnowledgeMaintain working knowledge of ServiceNow's role within the broader Privacy technology ecosystem, including how Privacy Assessment workflows are configured and executed on the platform.Understand how ServiceNow exchanges data and functionality with other connected systems (e.g., metadata/inventory management tools), including where field-level, single-select vs. multi-select, or process-governance mismatches can arise between systems.Partner with technical teams to translate business and China-specific requirements into system configuration needs, flagging where multi-system dependencies affect design decisions.Support troubleshooting and resolution of cross-system integration issues that affect Privacy Assessment execution.Global CoordinationMaintain a 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM (EST) working schedule to maximize live overlap with China-based stakeholders.Act as a bridge between teams operating across significantly different time zones.Facilitate communications and follow-up activities between China and U.S. stakeholders.Support translation and clarification of business requirements when needed.Required Qualifications5+ years of Technical Project Management experience.Experience managing enterprise technology implementations.Familiarity with ServiceNow, including how it is implemented and configured to support business processes.Experience coordinating implementations that span multiple integrated systems, including identifying and resolving cross-system requirement or data gaps.Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills.Experience working with global and geographically distributed teams.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and release planning.Preferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of privacy assessment processes and privacy program operations. (Nice to Have — Privacy background knowledge)Direct ServiceNow implementation experience, particularly within GRC, Privacy, or IRM modules.Privacy, Compliance, Risk, or Governance program experience.
