A Truck Salesperson builds, maintains, and grows relationships with current and new clients through exceptional customer service. The successful team member has previous sales experience in the transportation industry or a willingness to learn.Responsibilities:Proactively identify and engage prospective truck-fleets, and provide help or direction to any customer that can benefit from our servicesExplain product performance, application, and benefits to prospectsDescribe all optional equipment, bodies and rigging available for customer purchasePerform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of medium-duty, heavy-duty, and severe service trucksOvercome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standardsEvaluating customer needs over emotional sellingAssist customers in spec'ing by asking questions and listening carefully to their responsesBuild strong rapport and life-long relationships with customersReport objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses to the Sales DirectorActively use a Customer Management System (CRM)Basic Qualifications:Proven ability to meet sales quotasSelf-motivated with a high level of integrityProfessional demeanor while negotiating pricingAbility to earn majority of compensation through commissions, once establishedOutgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricingEnthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workdayCompensation:Salary: Based on ExperienceReimbursements: Cell Phone, Mileage, etc.Commission/BonusEqual Employment Opportunity Statement: Ascendance Truck Centers is an equal opportunity employer.
